  8. Welcome to MegaCD, the ULTIMATE indexing utilz using AmigaGuide!
  9.  
  10. You can use MegaCDtree to build a complete dir-tree of a CD-ROM, a volume
  11. or  a  specific  directory.   Each  directory  of  the tree will become a
  12. clickable field (thanx to AmigaGuide), so you will be able to click a dir
  13. and MegaCD will automagically scan it in order to create a list of files,
  14. descriptions  (if  there  are any) and possible actions to easily explore
  15. it.  The only difficult thing is probably to explain you how to use them,
  16. but  i  can  assure  you  that  these indexing utils are the simplest and
  17. fastest idea ever!!!

  19. The  wonderful thing is that you can use them as a global viewer utility,
  20. since  you'll  be  able  to  play samples and mods, view images and anims
  21. (including  MPEG!),  read files (including HTML ones!), extract (but also
  22. list  and  test,  when  possible) lha,lzx,dms and zoom archives (with the
  23. possibility to view the file_id.diz) or simply copy a file to another dir
  24. (default  ram:).  Moreover MegaCD will associate the program Multiview to
  25. the  unknown  files,  in order to try visualizing them through datatypes.
